President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi met Friday Indonesia's President Joko Widodo in Jakarta to discuss several regional and international issues, Al Bawaba News reported. Widodo said that Sisi's visit to Indonesia represents a new breakthrough in the two countries relations, praising new Suez Canal project that was completed in one year only as well as stressing on Egypt's pivotal role on both political and economic levels. For his part, Sisi thanked Widodo for his warm hospitality made, pointing out that the coming period will witness a number of development projects implemented by Egypt including the developing of Suez Canal axis. The President invited his Indonesian counterpart to visit Egypt to witness the achievements made by Egypt during the last year.
