Minister of Trade and Industry, Mounir Fakhry revealed that Egypt and China will sign Wednesday three agreements for cooperation in presence of President Abdel-Fattah Al Sisi and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, Al Bawaba News reported Tuesday. Fakhry said these statements to reporters in Beijing and explained that the first agreement is to enhance Egyptian productive efficiency, and it has been initialed between the two sides in last June. He pointed out that he and the Minister of Investment will sign the agreement as representatives for the Egyptian side. He stressed that the agreement is for the implementation of 14 projects in energy and transport fields. The minister noted that the second agreement is related to a loan of $ 100 million from China Development Bank to finance small projects in Egypt and will be signed by the National Bank of Egypt Chairman on behalf of the Egyptian side. Also, he added that the third agreement includes a Chinese loan of $ 30 million provided by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce for establishment of satellite.
