Former interior minister Mohamed Ibrahim was summoned Tuesday to testify before Cairo Criminal Court in the espionage case of ousted president Mohamed Morsi and other Muslim Brotherhood leaders, Al-Bawaba news reported. According to Youm7 news, security forces evacuated the courtroom before the testimony of Ibrahim, since he will reveal information concerning the national security. The defendants, Morsi and 10 others, face charges of cooperation with foreign institutions; namely, the Qatari TV channel Al-Jazeera, to leak documents related to Egypt's national security to Qatar, during Morsi's rule.
