Al-Wafd Party competes with 231 candidates on individual seats

Al-Wafd Party announced it will compete on all individual seats in the upcoming parliamentary elections, with 231 candidates across the nation, Al-Bawaba Newspaper reported on Tuesday.
Deputy Chairman of Al-Wafd, Hossam El-Khouly stated that the party will nominate 10 candidates competing on list seats through the electoral list of "For the love of Egypt", noticing that the party had the right to nominate 11 candidates on this list but the eleventh candidate delayed in preparing his nomination papers.
El-Khouly indicated the number of Al-Wafd's candidates may increase as other party candidates competing on individual seats are expected to increase.
