Egypt, Russia to hold joint military exercises

Russia's armed forces announced that it will perform a joint military exercises with the Egyptian army during this year to train for dealing with armed groups, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday.
The Moscow Times newspaper said that the upcoming President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's visit to Russia will witness the announcement of military, political and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Nezavisimaya Gazeta newspaper confirmed that the Russian airborne troops and Special Forces members will participate in the exercises which will be held in Egypt with the participation of the Egyptian armed forces.
