Egyptian government seeks to attract more Arab investments to Upper-Egypt provinces, said Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman, Al-Bawaba News reported Saturday. He indicated the recent preparations made by the government for holding "Investment in Upper-Egypt" conference scheduled on September 11. Salman affirmed that Egyptian authorities want to grasp attention of Arab investors to promising development projects expected to be launched in Upper-Egypt through clarifying investment opportunities in different sectors, particularly agricultural and industrial projects. Salman revealed that the mutual trade volume between Egypt and other Arab countries estimated to 10% of current trade volume between Arabs and Europe, East Asia and America.
