Cairo criminal court considered Sunday the trial of ousted president Mohamed Morsi and 10 co-defendants in the case publicly known as "espionage with Qatar", Al-Bawaba News reported. The session included hearing of the presidency's third security officer. Through his testimony, he revealed that the ousted president's sons were exempted from inspection during their visits to the presidency residence. Morsi and the co-defendants face several charges including obtaining state's defense secrets, the misappropriation of documents issued by the state authorities and disclosure of state's secrets to a foreign country to harm state's military, political, diplomatic, economic and national interests.
