Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, has said that anyone who tries to tamper with the security of the Kingdom and it's people will receive an immediate response in the field. The Saudi Press Agency, SPA, quoted the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif during his visit to the injured and families of the martyrs killed in the terrorist bombing at the Special Emergency Forces Centre in Asir, when he expressed his appreciation to people who were "martyred for the sake of protecting the homeland against those that seek to undermine security and kill innocent people, praying for protection of the kingdom from the evils of criminals and those tempted to harm the security and stability of Kingdom." According to SPA, the Crown Prince also said that "the trails of blood that spread over the walls and the carpets of the mosque will increase our determination, stability and strength to counter this oppressive group that did not respect the sanctity of the place and its worshipers."
