Egypt's military spokesperson, Mohamed Samir Ghoneim mourned recently the Emirates' martyrs in Yemen through his official Facebook page. Three members of the UAE Armed Forces were martyred while performing their national duty as a part of the UAE forces in ‘Operation Restoring Hope', led by Saudi Arabia, to support the legitimate government in Yemen. "Armed Forces express its sincere condolences to the families of martyrs, Praying to Allah to have mercy on them and to encompass their families with patience," Ghoneim said. It is worth mentioning that there is a fight between the forces loyal to the beleaguered President, Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, and those allied to Zaidi Shia rebels known as Houthis, who forced Hadi to flee the capital Sanaa in February, this year.
