Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi assigned the ministries of irrigation and agriculture to make a schedule for implementing land reclamation projects eastern Suez Canal, Al-Bawaba News reported Friday. Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources, Hossam Maghazi said that the president ordered the two ministries to coordinate their efforts to ensure the success of the projects that aim to increase population in Sinai regions. An urgent plan was made to provide the expected water needs for the canal provinces through deepening the three ducts of Suez, Port Said and Ismailia, Maghazi added.
