The Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will attend the opening ceremony of the new Suez Canal on the behalf of President Vladimir Putin, said Russian news agency RIA Novosti on Tuesday. Medvedev is scheduled to meet with his Greek counterpart Alexis Tsipras on the sideline of their participation in the Egyptian event to discuss the latest development of the economic problems in Greece. The inauguration ceremony of the new Suez Canal will be held on August 6 with the representation of World leaders who confirmed their attendance at this important event.
