Giant ship to cross new Suez Canal tomorrow: official

Deputy Director of Suez Canal Dredging Project, Ahmad Farid said Monday that a giant ship will cross the new Suez Canal as an experiment before its inauguration ceremony, Al Bawaba News reported.
Farid pointed out dredging process in the new Canal has been completed today, adding the workers at the Canal are working hard in order to complete opening ceremony preparations.
The inauguration ceremony of the new Suez Canal will be held on August 6 with the representation of World leaders who confirmed their attendance at this important event.
