Egyptian politics expert, Tamer Al-Zayadi praised the Cairo Declaration issued by Egypt and Saudi Arabia to promote cooperation and bilateral relations, Al-Bawaba News reported Saturday. Al-Zayadi indicated that the first item of the agreement boosts joint military cooperation between the two countries in light of the Arab region situation, asserting that the two countries' armies can achieve stability in the region and eliminate all forms of terrorism. Al-Zayadi signaled the fifth item of intensifying cultural, political and media cooperation to form a powerful front that can confront extreme ideologies spread in the region. The four other items sought to link the Egyptian and the Saudi economies to ensure speed recovery of the Egyptian state and boost trade between the two countries.
