Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will head a high-profile delegation to attend the opening of Suez Canal project scheduled to be held on August 6, said Greek Ambassador to Cairo Chris Lazaris. The Greek diplomat said that the new project will open the door for Egypt to increase its influence on the international arena, adding that it will benefit the world trade. He added that that the delegation will include a number of Greek senior officials, adding that they will discuss the ways to increase cooperation between the two countries during the coming period with their Egyptian counterparts.
