Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi held talks Saturday with the French Defense Minister Jean Yves Lodrian to buy two more naval corvettes, a French diplomat said, Al-Bawaba News reported. The French defence minister met the Egyptian president at the presidential headquarters in Heliopolis within a comprehensive African tour. The meeting was attended by Egypt's Defense minister, Sedki Sobhi and Nicolas Gallet, the French Ambassador in Cairo. During the meeting, Lodrian delivered to Al-Sisi his French counterpart Francois Holland's greetings. Lodrian expressed his country's full solidarity with Egypt, praising its position in supporting France in the fight against terrorism, adding that Cairo and Paris are facing a common enemy. Egypt praised the military cooperation between Egypt and France in various sectors such as technical cooperation and training between the French side and marine arsenal in Alexandria.
