The Ministry of Culture is planning to pay tribute to global acting legend, Omar Sharif in a global celebration that will kick start at Milan's Expo in Italy, Al Bawaba News reported. The celebration is expected to include a major exhibition, documentary film and booklet of his life and highlights of his acting career. Sharif died at the age of 83 years old, from a heart attack, after his long battle with Alzheimer's disease. The late actor was nominated for an Academy Award, won three Golden Globe Awards and a César Award. His stardom reached new heights as a result of his performances in moves like, ‘Lawrence of Arabia', ‘Doctor Zhivago' and ‘Funny Girl'.
