Egypt's military killed Friday six militants in Sheikh Zuwaid, North Sinai, Al Bawaba News reported. Apache aircraft bombarded a terrorist hotbed at Al Tumma village where terrorists were planning for a terrorist attack against security personnel, military officials said. Meanwhile, commando forces arrested a terrorist cell composed of seven militants in Al Arish, the officials added. Since the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsi, July 2013, a string of terrorist attacks in the restive Sinai Peninsula killed and wounded thousands of security personnel and civilians.
