Severe clashes and gunfire between security forces and Islamist protesters, loyal to the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood group, killed at least seven people in Giza's Kerdasa district, an Egyptian security official said Friday. The official said that hundreds of MB supporters staged a march on Friday in the neighborhood after Eid Al-Fitr morning prayers following the end of the holy month of Ramadan. He said dozens of people were wounded in the ongoing clashes, while street violence between Brotherhood supporters and police also erupted in the nearby town of Nahia, a Brotherhood stronghold.
