Egypt's Minister of Endowment called the leaders of the ministry for a meeting to discuss how to renew the religious discourse during the upcoming period, al-Bawaba News reported Thursday. The meeting is scheduled to discuss the cultural and intellectual programs adopted by the ministry to confront the extremist ideas promoted by the terrorist groups. The meeting comes two days after the speech delivered by Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi who stressed the need for the renewal of the religious speech. He blamed the extremists for the notable increase in the number of those who taken on atheism.
