Elections law referred to Sisi for ratification

The Electoral District Law is scheduled to be referred to Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi during the coming hours for ratification, Al Bawaba News reported on Wednesday.
The step comes after the passage of the draft law by Egypt's Cabinet after months of controversy over the amendments of the law.
According to the draft law, Egypt has been divided into 205 electoral districts for the individual system, while four districts for the open list system. The individuals will seize 448 parliamentary seats in the coming parliament, while the lists will gain 120 seats
