Prime Minister, Ibrahim Mahlab said Tuesday in an interview with radio masr radio station that ‘anti-terrorism' law will not affect the press freedom, Al Bawaba newspaper reported. Mahlab pointed out that publishing false information affects the morale of the citizens, calling the media and press agencies to meet the professional and ethical standards during the news coverage. The press syndicate refused Sunday the ‘anti-terrorism' law, saying that it restricts freedom of the press and that it violates the constitution.
