Deputy Attorney General succeeds Barakat temporarily: judicial source

Deputy Attorney General, Chancellor Zakaria Abdel Aziz Othman was mandated as acting Attorney General temporarily, until appointing new one, following the assassination of Hisham Barakat, Shorouk News reported on Tuesday.
Othman will be in charge of general prosecution works until choosing Barakat's successor by the Supreme Judicial Council, judicial source told Shorouk.
Former Attorney General Hisham Barakat was assassinated on Tuesday, by the so-called militia "Popular Resistance."
