PM Ibrahim Mahlab, Chaired a meeting, on Tuesday, to follow up on the Agricultural Reclamation Lands, with ministers of local development, housing, water resources and irrigation, agriculture, and governors of Qena, and Ismailia. State media reported. During the meeting, they reviewed efforts exerted to remove encroachments on urban spaces in villages of Qena and Ismaelia, and provide irrigation sources, either through the Nile river or groundwater wells. The meeting was also to follow up on the latest rehabilitation developments of the existing water plants, and efforts to create new ones by overcoming technical problems impeding the completion of its implementation. It was agreed during the meeting to invest in what has been implemented in lifting and clearing Villages' waterways, and speed completion of ground dams construction, since the Nile water irrigation source is suitable for all agricultural crops.
