Germany will not extradite any suspect from Germany in case he faced death penalty in his homeland, a spokesman for the German foreign ministry said Monday, in response to a question about the fate of Al-Jazeera journalist who has been remanded in custody in Berlin at Egypt's request, France 24 reported. "I don't think one can say this loudly enough: Of course, nobody will be extradited from Germany who risks being sentenced to death abroad," Martin Schaefer stated in a press conference. A Cairo court sentenced the dual Egyptian-British Journalist, Ahmed Mansour to 15 years in prison in absentia last year, on a charge of torturing a lawyer in 2011 on Tahrir Square.
