After life sentence, Morsi's lawyer expects a retrial

Spokesperson of Mohamed Morsi's defense panel, Mohamed Al Damaty has predicted that Cassation Court will accept the appeal against Morsi's life sentence that was issued on Tuesday, Al Bawaba News reported.
Morsi and other convicts' defense panel will appeal against the sentence, Damaty told Al Bawaba News, expecting that Cassation Court will overturn the rule and retry the former president and 35 other convicts.
Cairo Criminal Court sentenced Morsi and 17 others to life in prison, 3 convicts to death, 2 others to 7 years in prison, and the other fugitive convicts were sentenced to death.
