Free Egyptians Party (FEP) will not address the Supreme Constitutional Court to decide whether the protest law is constitutional or not, said the party's spokesperson Shehab Wageh to Youm7. He added that the court considers the judicial disputes over the laws, while it is not a legislative body. The party will depend on the upcoming parliaments to amend the protest law, said the politician, adding that it will be the legal legislative body deriving its legitimacy from the popular support. The statement came after the letter sent by the Democratic Alliance to the Constitutional Court to issue its verdict over the constitutionality of the protest law.
