Russian marine units reach Alexandria

Russian marine units reached the Alexandria marine base for the joint routine exercise " Friendship Bridge 2015" which will last for several days in the Mediterranean waters, Al Bawaba News reported Saturday.
Ossama Rabeea, Egyptian navy commander received the Russian units upon arrival ahead of a meeting with the Black Sea fleet military commander, Valerie Kolikov.
The two leaders held a press conference to announce the joint marine activities including an exchange of experience regarding the latest marine tactics and modern methods of fighting.
The joint exercise " Friendship Bridge 2015 ", the strongest and largest between Egypt and Russia, comes in the light of bilateral high rank military and security cooperation talks.
