Following Islamic state claims of bombing two Shiite mosques, Saudi crown prince said on Sunday the security situation in his country is controllable, the state-run Saudi Press Agency reported. "Incidents such as this will not destabilize us. We have been through bigger ones," said Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, who is also the interior minister, speaking to foreign ambassadors. IS militants targeted a Shiite mosque in the eastern city of Dammam, leaving four killed, including the suicide bomber. Security forces foiled the attack, and the militants had failed in their bid to hit the mosque itself, the Saudi press agency reported. A previous suicide bombing in the eastern city of Al Qatif killed at least 21 and wounded 81 others.
