Egypt's foreign policy will abort Muslim Brotherhood (MB) trials to push the international community to interfere in Egypt's internal affairs, political expert Amr Hashem Rabei stated to Youm7 News Thursday. Mr. Rabei's statement comes days after MB claims that foreign powers exercise increasing pressure on the Egyptian government to ensure MB participation in Egypt's political scene. "Despite the increasing pressure exerted by foreign countries on Sisi, we depend on Allah and the revolutionary tide to achieve our objective," a statement issued by MB leading member Gamal Heshmat read. The statement explicitly shows the terrorist group turned to foreign countries to press the Egyptian government to rejoin political scene, political researcher Hisham Al Nagar said. Rabei indicated the group depended on a number of European allies and international lawyers to file judicial lawsuits against the Egyptian regime, downplaying the effects of those attempts on Egypt's interests either nationally or internationally.
