Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab left Cairo early Wednesday on a two-day-visit to Jordan to head a meeting of the Egyptian-Jordanian High Committee, Al Bawaba News reported. The Egyptian minister is set to discuss ways of increasing cooperation and boosting bilateral relations between the two countries, on the economic, trade and investment levels as well as counter-terrorism. The two sides are due to sign a number of agreements and protocols, including an executive program related to irrigation and water resources, a memorandum of understanding in Civil Service and an agreement to protect both countries' cultural heritages.
