Egypt's ambassador to Germany, Mohamed Hegazy, said Monday that authorities of the German Capital Berlin, prepare to receive President Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi early June, Al Bawaba News reported. Among the German leaders who have welcomed Sisi's upcoming visit to Berlin are Federal President, Joachim Zhaox, Chancellor Merkel, her deputy, Sigmar Gabriel, and Foreign Minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The visit will also include meeting a number of politicians, parliamentarians, journalists, intellectuals, major German banks leaders, financial and investment institutions, and companies. "This welcoming reflects the importance of the Egyptian-German ties, and Egypt's role in the regional stability, protection of its citizens, that is inevitably linked to security of European Mediterranean countries," the ambassador remarked. Sisi will witness signing of a number of important contracts for energy, housing, infrastructure, education and other important strategic contracts, Hegazy stated, adding that Sisi will participate in the closing session of the Egyptian German economic Forum.
