Egypt's PM, Ibrahim Mahlab inaugurates Tuesday, power station in Jamjarah village of Qalyubiya, operating 650 MW combined cycle system at a cost of $ 50 million, and built on an area of 5.22 acres, State media reported. Mahlab is accompanied by Minister of Electricity, Mohamed Shaker and Qalyubiya Governor, Engineer, Mohammed Abdul Zahir. The new station capacity is 220 kVA, running on natural gas, and associated with high voltage lines to serve Qalyubiya and most of Cairo governorates.
