Islamic State (IS) called on Muslim Brotherhood (MB)'s young members to pledge allegiance to its leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, Al Bawaba News reported Monday. IS militant Ahmed Rabie said, on a jihadi website, that MB's young members should join the Islamic State if they wanted to serve their religion. The call comes days after the death sentence issued against ousted President Mohamed Morsi and 105 co-defendants on Saturday in the case of jail break. Rabie added that MB supporters should abandon the democratic approach adopted by their group. He threatened to force them to join the extremist militia if they refused this offer. Meanwhile, MB leader Ahmed Al Mogheir praised the IS' call aiming to fight against Egypt's institutions. He urged the MB to exclude any member adopting the peaceful opposition against the Egyptian regime. On the other hand, MB's leading member Salama Abdel Qawi conducted an opinion poll whether to launch violent and armed attacks against the Egyptian army and police or not. He called the group's supporters for participating to express their visions.
