Egypt will receive three French Rafale fighter jets on July 25, the daily Al Akhbar newspaper cited a military source Friday. The source, who asked to remain anonymous, said the Egyptian pilots were being trained on the fighter jets in France, indicating the three warplanes would participate in the the New Suez Canal inauguration ceremony Aug. 6. "Egypt will receive another three Rafale fighters by the end of the year," the source added. On Feb. 12, Egypt signed with France a $5.7 billion deal to receive 24 Rafale fighter jets, naval frigate and missiles.
