State, Jama'a Islamiya seek compromise: Islamist

Founder of the Jama'a Islamiya (Islamic Group) Rebellion Movement, Yasser Faraweila has ruled out any imminent clashes between the State and the group's Shura Council over the latter's on-going support for the Muslim Brotherhood group, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday.
"The two sides seek to evade clashes and to adopt a compromise," Faraweilla said, adding high-level officials have negotiated with the Shura Council head Essam Derballa to withdraw from the so-called National Alliance to Support Legitimacy (NASL) and to publicly denounce violence.
The Jama'a Islamiya has repeatedly participated in the pro-MB violent protests calling for the reinstatement of former president Mohamed Morsi who was ousted July 2013 amid military-backed mass street protests.
Security circles may take violent courses against the Shura Council members after the holy month of Ramadan (which starts in mid-June) in case it doesn't respond to the state's demands, Faraweilla added.
