Militants attack military checkpoint in Sheikh Zuweid

Unidentified militants attacked Sunday a military checkpoint in North Sinai's Sheikh Zuweid city, wounding a solider, Al Bawaba News reported.
Security sources said that the injured solier was transferred to the military hospital in Arish for treatment.
Since September 2013, the Egyptian army has been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against Wilayat Sinai after it had claimed its responsibility for several attacks targeting military and security personnel.
