Dozens of Egyptians demonstrated Friday in Alexandria's Commander Ibrahim square to express their support for President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, Al Bawaba newspaper reported. Citizens gathered to show their support for the president, after he announced that the Egyptian and Libyan forces played a vital role in freeing the 27 Ethiopians held captives by militants in Libya. The demonstrators chanted pro-regime slogans "We Love Sisi," "Sisi is our president", while carrying Egyptian flags and pictures of the president. They also demanded the execution of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group leaders and ousted president Mohamed Morsi, holding banners that read: "The people want the execution of the MB," and "The army and the people are one."
