German Foreign Minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier said Monday in a joint press conference with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry in Cairo that his country is looking forward to President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi's upcoming visit, Al Bawaba newspaper reported. Steinmeier pointed out that Egypt is the leading country of the Arab world, stressing that it has a fundamental responsibility to achieve stability in the Middle East and has a major role in solving the Libyan, Syrian and Yemeni crises. The German minister acknowledged that Egypt deals with real terrorist threats and suffers from the social and economic needs of the young people. He explained that during his bilateral meeting with the president, Al Sisi showed his eagerness to tackle these needs. Furthermore, he discussed bilateral cooperation with Egypt in its fight against terrorism and in boosting the Egyptian economy, adding that the president promised to solve all the problems of the German companies in the coming weeks.
