Wilayat Sinai terrorist group attacked Monday a security camp in North Sinai's Rafah city, wounding a number of soldiers, Al Bawaba News reported. Security sources said that Wilayat Sinai militants shelled the camp by mortar bombs and Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs), pointing out that the army is currently attacking the militants. Since September 2013, the Egyptian army has been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against Wilayat Sinai, formerly known as Ansar Bayt Al Maqdis, after it had claimed responsibility for several attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
