ECFA delegation takes part in NPT meetings in New York

A delegation of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs (ECFA) took part in meetings of international non-governmental organizations that kicked off in New York on Friday to discuss the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
The meetings are part of UN gatherings on the 2015 NPT Review Conference.
Speaking to the Middle East News Agency, Mohamed Ibrahim Shaker, ECFA chairman, said that such meetings tackle the international situation regarding the NPT review.
The delegation will call for holding an international conference to discuss possible action to free the Middle East of weapons of mass destruction, Shaker noted.
