Egypt's Salafist Call vice president Yasser Borhamy met with a number of detained MB members' families in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria days before flying to Saudi Arabia, Al-Bawaba News reported on Sunday. According to sources, Borhamy offered during the meeting to play a mediating role with the National Security leaders to free their siblings in return for abandoning their loyalty to MB, Al-Bawaba added. "Borhamy showed readiness to play a mediating role between the State and MB detainees on condition the latter sign repentance pamphlets," sources told Al-Bawaba. The Salafist senior figure suggested MB elements to pay blood money for the kin of their victims as a way-out of the current political crisis. "Borhamy will lead a repentance pamphlets campaign across Egypt when he comes back from the KSA," Al-Bawabba News cited Salafi sources.
