Foreign ministry follows up conditions of Egyptian fishermen held in Sudan

The Egyptian Embassy in Khartoum and the General Consulate in Port Sudan have been following up the issue of Egyptian Fishermen held by the Sudanese authorities.
They face charges of crossing the Sudanese territorial waters without permission.
Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Ati on Saturday 18/4/2015 said the Embassy and the Consulate are following up the issue.
The consulate resumes its contacts with the lawyer tasked with defending them.
Representatives of the consulate attended sessions of trial.
The spokesman said the Embassy and the consulate have been making contacts with the officials in the Sudanese Foreign and Justice Ministries to release the fishermen.
