Law drafting committee member, Counselor Salah Fawzy, said Saturday the committee had amended the Electoral Districts law and will not be resuming meetings Sunday, Al Bawaba News reported. The committee referred the amended law to the State Council April 16, after formulating all laws pertaining to the exercise of political rights, House of Representatives and the division of electoral constituencies, Fawzy added. Political and public figures have been holding meetings, ruled by the Supreme Constitutional Court, and presided by Egypt's Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Ibrahim Heneidy, to reach a common ground for the highly-anticipated, amended law.
