Border Guards thwarted Thursday the infiltration of 11 Egyptians to Libya, referring them to Sallum police station to take the necessary measures, according to Youm7 news. The defendants are accused of attempting to flee to Libya illegally, Matrouh security directorate said in statement Thursday. Egyptian authorities are intensifying the crackdown on infiltrators to conflict-torn country, to secure its nationals against the danger of militias in Libya. Egyptian foreign ministry has released repeated travel warnings to secure its nationals from going to Libya, especially after the brutal beheading to 21 Coptic Egyptians by the Islamic State last February.
