Improvised bombs exploded under two electricity pylons at the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) late Monday, forcing several satellite channels to suspend broadcasting for hours, according to state news. Extremists and supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist organization blame Satellite channels for fueling public anger against the ousted regime of former President Mohamed Morsi. MB supporters and Salafists repeatedly organized protests in front of EMPC and attempted to storm it on several occasions. Electricity has been restored gradually early Tuesday after an overnight power outage, no injuries were reported. The bombing, an unprecedented incidence, came a day after a series of attacks that targeted police stations and military check points in Rafah and Arish, North Sinai.
