A 9-year-old girl became pregnant, after Islamic State (IS) militants kidnapped and raped her in Iraq, Canadian-based aid worker, Yousif Daoud told Mirror newspaper Saturday. Daoud said: "this girl is so young she could die if she delivers a baby. Even a caesarian section is dangerous. The abuse she has suffered left her mentally and physically traumatised." The girl was among the 40 thousand people from the Yazidis religious minority community who were abducted by IS militants in August 2014. A lot of girls and women abducted from their homes in Iraq were tortured, raped, forced into marriage and enslaved by IS militants, leaving some of the girls and women pregnant, according to the newspaper. IS militants released Wednesday more than 200 Yazidis, as they delivered to Kurdish forces near the city of Kirkuk.
