Egypt's Defense Minister, Sedki Sobhy arrived Thursday in Saudi Arabia to meet with top officials for talks over issues of common interest, following his visit to Pakistan, according to reports. Sobhy will meet with his Saudi counterpart, head of the royal council Prince Mohamed Ben Salman to discuss the regional developments and boosting cooperation to preserve the region's security. Prince Salman welcomed Sobhy to the Saudi kingdom, wishing the Egyptian leadership and nation prosperity as Egypt is the region's "safety valve."
