The US-led coalition launched seven airstrikes in Iraq against Islamic State militants since early Sunday, Reuters said. The airstrikes were conducted near Mosul, Sinjar, Tal Afar and Tikrit, according to the Combined Joint Task Force. Two units of militant jihadist fighters were hit, as well as a fighting position, several buildings and other targets, the military said Monday.
