After the ouster of the Muslim Brotherhood regime amid mass popular protests in July 2013, the group members and affiliates started to spread violence across the country, by planting bombs, targeting innocent civilians, alongside Police and Army personnel. Usually, the perpetrators are unidentified, while government sources often point to members of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood, especially after the group changed its motto from "our peace is stronger than bullets" to "our peace is stronger with bullets," as published on its website. "They target crowded locations in general, like metro stations, schools, bus stations, etc ... in retaliation to the ouster of former president Morsi." Political analyst Brigadier Khaled Okasha told Al Bawaba English in an exclusive interview on the reasons behind their violence. Menna, an innocent child from one of the villages in Fayoum, was killed in their latest attack, after she found a bomb shaped like a toy in front of her school; she picked it up and took it home, minutes later, it exploded and took her life, saving hundreds of her school colleagues, Ahram online reported. This is not the first time they target a school, two other explosions took place near schools but left no casualties, one exploded in front of Sheikh Zayed Youth Centre in 6th of October city, and three others were found inside three schools and have been defused in Ismailia, Daily News Egypt reported. In North Sinai, security forces defused an explosive device planted in front of a secondary school in Arish, no injuries have been reported, Sada Albalad reported. Two MB members have thrown minors from the top of a building for participating in anti-MB protests in Alexandria; the perpetrators were sentenced to death by the criminal court and have been executed. MB supporters started beating the motionless bodies of the young protestors who were attacked for celebrating the ouster of President Mohammed Morsi. Okasha said that increasing the number of police patrols during rush hours, communication between the nearest police station and schools' security officials and educating them on how to deal with a bomb if found, in addition to securing the entrance and exit of students all year around, will help minimize the rate of the attacks. Okasha said that placing surveillance cameras on top of schools "will help catch the assailants; it won't stop them from doing it though." Nabil Naim, founder of Al Jihad Islamic party, had a different point of view about the reason why MBs are targeting schools, "because they consider that the children of Egyptians are infidels," he said. "They justify this with a phrase from the Qura'an: {if thou should not leave them, they will mislead the worshipers and will beget none save lewd ingrates}," he added. "Their philosophy considers everybody infidels, based on the book of Sayyid Qutb, "Ma'alem Fe Altariq" (Milestones) people nowadays are infidels, even if they claim otherwise or have witnesses." Naem explained. This is the MB Ideology which has been set out in books for 50 years. The group does not consider killing people a sin, they would even go to the extreme and plant bombs in front of schools, targeting underage girls and boys, just to implement their agendas, and revenge what they call an upheaval against legitimacy.
