Thousands of Yemenis held Saturday demonstrations in the cities of Ibb, Taiz and damt, to express their support for the military operation of storm of resolve and denounce Houthis. The protesters waved flags of the ten countries participating in storm of resolve and pictures of Yemeni President, Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, in addition to slogans demanding the departure of Houthis from all state institutions. Yemen has witnessed massive violent clashes between the Houthi fighters and the national forces during the last few years causing instability and chaos in the country. The Houthis participated in the Yemeni demonstrations in 2011 that ousted Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh. They took part in the National Dialogue Conference in February 2014, which called for making Yemen a federation of six regions.
